The Pictou Landing First Nation Project consists of 7 new single-family dwellings. These energy-efficient homes have R-10 under slab insulation, R-20 spray foam in the basements, R-30 insulation in walls, and R-60 blown cellulose in the attics. Three of the homes have 4 bedrooms and two of them have 5 bedrooms. The construction of these homes was started on November 23, 2020, and were all erected within 2 weeks. Despite the pandemic creating some challenges, we were able to hand over keys in May 2021.
